OLŠOVEC ENGINEERING WORKS
We have been dealing in job-order engineering manufacturing since 1993. We have our own production premises at our disposal in the village of Olšovec, which is situated 5 km north of the town of Hranice. The premises with the area of 10,000 m2, which is focused on engineering manufacturing of various kinds and external assemblies, include production facilities formed by a rather old machining shop building, offices and warehouses as well as by a newly renovated production hall with the dimensions of 15 × 57 m, in which there are heavy machine tools. A part of the hall is used as a fitter´s shop. In a separated brick hall in the northern part of the premises, there are machines for material preparation and processing.
The business and financial departments together with the management of the company can be found near the production facilities in a newly renovated building just behind the town hall of Olšovec.
To improve the quality of services, offered work and products, we have implemented the certificated industry system according to the standards ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 (the business management certified system for production of steel structures, handling technology, transport systems, fitter work and metal-working industry), ČSN EN ISO 3834-2 (quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials – higher requirements for quality), ČSN EN 15085-2 CL1 (welding of railway vehicles and components); further we own a license to manufacturing, repairs, inspections and tests of the reserved pressure equipment (it applies to pressure vessels stable in the A and B groups, steam boilers and fluid boilers, class 1, 2, 3 and 4). We employ 56 highly-qualified employees in the following positions:
- 18 employees in the machining shop
- 20 employees in the fitter´s professions and external assemblies
- 2 employees in transport
- 2 employees in maintenance
- 2 employees in inspection
- 3 employees in handling and cleaning
- 9 employees as technoeconomic employees
